Brief
A family of 4 in a stunning modern build in Beaconsfield. The Bourne family wanted the kitchen to help create a room where the entire family could spend the day. They are also a family that likes to entertain, so they needed a room that could feel spacious not only in the living, dining area but also in and around the kitchen. Whether cooking for the family or entertaining it was important to have the right appliance to create amazing food. Mrs Bourne had always wanted a traditional style of kitchen but it was important that it had some modern element to be in keeping with the style of the house.
The Solution
Starting with a very traditional smooth painted framed door and adding a more modern bank of ovens with an individual style of extractor was the start of creating this look. Keeping the units around the outside a simple Farrow & Ball Dovetail were then lifted with the rose gold features.
Finally the finishing feature was the island, a large and central preparation area that helped bring the working elements together but also incorporated a good size dinning space that was finished off with individually chosen stunning granite.
